Tax Staff Accountant – Public (Temp-to-Hire)

Our growing CPA firm client has an immediate need for a Tax Staff Accountant.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare federal and state tax returns for partnerships, C corporations, S corporations, trusts and individuals
• Financial Statement preparation, compilations and reviews
• Tax Planning
• Assist with tax audits and notice responses
• Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all team members, internally and externally
• Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• One of more years of experience
• CPA exam eligible or working towards eligibility
• Know aptitude for income taxation, some tax classes recommended
• Ability to problem solve
