Tax Senior Accountant
It's time to make a change! Our client (CPA Firm) is searching for an experienced Tax Senior Accountant to round out their high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of tax experience in a public accounting firm environment, be technically fluent in all things tax, and have the desire to take a leadership role as a future manager. For 4+ years of experience, may consider Manager level.
Core Functions:
• Prepare and review complex federal, state and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
• Perform fieldwork to include the preparation of complex work papers, monitor and review the work paper preparation of Staff Accountants and Interns
• Develop strong working relationships with clients focused on serving current needs and anticipating future needs
• Build solid relationships with clients, prospects, and community contacts to contribute to the future growth of the firm
• Expand technical and professional knowledge through greater exposure to client interactions, regular self-study, and formal training opportunities
• Manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment
Key Qualifications:
• CPA preferred or eligible and actively pursuing certification
• 2+ years of experience in a tax practice at a CPA firm; demonstrated competency in senior level technical skills
• Solid technical knowledge including use paperless tax prep and time management billing software
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
• High level of professionalism in communications, presentations, and interpersonal interactions
• Eligible to work in US
Other Information:
