We are seeking a skilled Tax Practice Manager to lead and develop the new tax division of our rapidly growing Wealth Management Firm based in Flagstaff, AZ. This role focuses on enhancing client relationships through detailed tax strategy planning and operational efficiency. Ideal candidates will hold a CPA, demonstrate deep expertise in preparing complex tax returns, and possess a strong ability to manage and optimize internal processes. Salary: DOE per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct client consultations to assess their needs and provide custom tax strategies.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of tax forms including 1040s, 1041s, 1065s, and 1120S, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Implement process improvements and technology solutions to enhance the efficiency of tax practices.
• Develop and deliver monthly training sessions for advisory staff focused on the latest tax strategies and law updates.
• Expand our service offerings to include comprehensive bookkeeping and financial reconciliation services.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• CPA certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree in Taxation is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation, including handling complex returns for both individuals and businesses.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing a tax practice or a similar leadership role within a financial firm.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and implement process enhancements in a tax setting.
• Experience in providing tax-related educational training to peers or subordinates.
