Tax Partner (Path to Equity) – Cleveland, OH

Build and lead a manufacturing-focused tax practice with immediate leadership visibility and a clear path to equity.

A well-established Cleveland-based CPA firm is seeking a senior tax leader to step into a Partner-track role, working directly with the Managing Partner to expand and modernize the firm’s tax services across Northeast Ohio.

This is not a back-office role—this is a practice-building opportunity.

Compensation & Structure

Base salary: $145K – $225K+ (flexible based on experience/book)
Aggressive bonus plan tied to revenue growth
Equity opportunity with structured buy-in (or phased entry)
Sign-on bonus available

What You’ll Own

Lead and grow a manufacturing-focused tax practice
Manage and expand relationships with middle-market clients
Provide strategic tax planning (not just compliance)
Mentor and develop tax staff and managers
Drive business development in the Northeast Ohio market

Ideal Profile

CPA with 10–15+ years in public accounting
Strong experience with:
Pass-through entities (S-corps, partnerships)
Middle-market / privately held companies
High-net-worth clients
Proven ability (or strong interest) in building client relationships
Background in regional or Big 4 firm preferred
