Tax Manager

Title: Tax Manager
Location: Houston, TX
Salary: $145,000 - $175,000
$120,000 - $145,000 base
20% bonus potential

In this position you will support the Vice President of Tax in a range of tax functions at this over $10B company. Some highlights include:

• You will project manage bringing the federal tax provision back in-house over the next 2 years.
• Supervise 3 tax staff and seniors in order to facilitate and manage the preparation of the federal return, then later the quarterly and annual provisions.
• Aid in the preparation of federal, state and international income tax returns.
• Perform a wide range of planning and special projects with the head of tax.
• Some initial projects will include accounting method reviews, acquisition analysis and a legal entity consolidation project.
• Assist in completing federal and state income tax audits.

Experience:

• 4+ years large corporate or Big 4 tax experience
