Tax Manager - Warrendale, PA (Greater Pittsburg)
Who: A seasoned tax professional with strong technical expertise and the ability to manage multiple complex engagements.
What: Lead tax planning, consulting, and compliance work while mentoring staff and serving as the primary client contact.
When: Hiring immediately to support the expanding Warrendale, PA market.
Where: Warrendale, Pennsylvania on a hybrid schedule (2–3 days per week in office).

Position Overview:
The Tax Manager will lead multiple client engagements, review complex tax returns, deliver strategic tax planning, and support staff development while maintaining and enhancing strong client relationships across a wide range of industries and entity types.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage multiple tax engagements, providing strategic planning, consulting, and compliance guidance.
● Prepare and review complex returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and nonprofit organizations.
● Review staff work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to budgets.
● Collaborate with managers and partners to maintain and grow client relationships.
● Mentor and coach tax staff at various levels.
● Resolve technical tax issues and respond to inquiries from the IRS and state tax authorities.
● Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client deliverables.
● Identify additional client needs and introduce relevant firm services.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
● Active CPA license required.
● 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
● Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and tax authority standards.
● Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
● Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
● Proficiency with tax software and strong overall technical skills.
