Job Title: Tax Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager with 5+ years in public accounting to join an amazing team! This position will be on-site in the Houston Area, and they offer real opportunities for growth. They invest into their employees and allow you to work directly with the partners gaining valuable experience. Plus, there is no caps on bonuses or salary increases!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Perform 80-90% Review work and 10% doing complex returns.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Research complex tax issues and advise accordingly.

Qualifications:

• CPA is not required (But preferred)
• 5+ years of tax experience.
• Knowledge in CCH pro fx
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented with deadline focus.
