Tax Manager (Fully Remote)

About Our Client:
Our client is seeking a professional Tax Manager with at least 3 years of experience working within the Canadian tax function of a large corporation or a public accounting firm.
Responsibilities
- Organize Canadian corporate income tax returns and work-papers
- Organize Canadian and International tax provision workbooks
- Assist with integration of Canadian and international acquisitions and connecting with seller's representatives
- Participate in a team to determine the most relevant Canadian and international corporate structure for tax purposes
- Suggest recommendations on various Canadian corporate tax matters
- Support with transfer pricing entries and work closely with transfer pricing consultants
- Work with SR&ED consultants to provide data to complete SR&ED studies
- Collaborate with external tax consultants and internal finance teams
- Work on other various Canadian corporate tax projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
- Appropriate relevant designation or nearing completion of designation requirements (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA)
- 3+ years of experience working within the Canadian tax function of a large corporation or a public accounting firm
- Background working with Canadian tax preparation software (Tax prep) and corporate income tax filings
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal relations and ability to work with others effectively in a remote team environment
