Tax Manager with Estate, Gift & Trust experience sought for a growing regional CPA firm with strong commitment to serving high-net-worth clients. The CPA or JD will work closely with the tax team leader and the wealth management group, communicating regularly with clients, mentoring junior tax associates, and assisting in driving strategic initiatives. At least five years of experience in estate, gift and trust tax preferred, and experience with complex HNW-related returns.

The Role of the Estate, Gift & Estate Tax Manager:
  • Advise clients on Estate Planning opportunities.
  • Manage current and potential issues related to HNW tax strategy.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships with current clients
  • Manage and review estate, gift and trust tax compliance work
  • Supervise, develop, and coach team members as assigned
  • Act as a resource for tax preparers/specialists and auditing staff on specific tax issues
  • Participate actively in Firm’s industry groups to help promote product lines across Firm disciplines, Manufacturing, Construction/Real Estate, Hospitality, and Controversy
  • Research and analyze trends that may impact estate planning clients.
Background Profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Current license, CPA or JD
  • At least 5 years of experience in a professional services firm, with a concentration in estate planning services and related compliance work.
  • A committed professional with a desire to assist clients and grow the service niche
