Who: A seasoned tax professional with strong experience in C-Corporations and a solid understanding of partnership taxation.

Position Overview:
The Tax Manager will support the newly established Waltham market by managing tax compliance engagements, anticipating tax and business issues, and identifying value-added planning opportunities, while developing and guiding junior professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for workflows, deadlines, deliverables, and communications.
● Review complex tax returns, including tax provisions/ASC 740 work.
● Solve tax challenges for clients in Technology, Life Sciences, Financial Services, Venture Capital, and Consumer Goods.
● Lead, mentor, and train Tax Staff and Seniors in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
● Apply strong project management, analytical, communication, and client service skills.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s preferred.
● Active CPA license required.
● 5+ years of public accounting experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
● Strong background in C-Corporations.
● General understanding of partnership taxation, especially equity investment structures.
● Tax Provision/ASC 740 experience is a plus.
● Ability to understand clients’ businesses and industry nuances.
