We are looking for a Tax Director to work for our client. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the company’s tax strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements to optimize tax planning and reporting for a multinational organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the tax function and establish the company’s tax policy and strategic direction.
• Perform tax due diligence for acquisition transactions and recommend appropriate tax structures.
• Identify opportunities and risks related to state tax nexus issues.
• Maximize tax credits and incentives, including collaborating with advisors to claim research and development credits.
• Support acquisition and integration of target entities from a tax perspective.
• Provide leadership and supervision to the tax team, including skills assessments, training coordination, and performance feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement and transformation within the tax compliance and reporting function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8+ years of progressive tax experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Proven ability to lead transformational initiatives in a publicly traded, US-headquartered multinational company.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
