Tax Associate
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Tax Associate to manage and support all aspects of tax reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of tax regulations and will be responsible for preparing tax returns, identifying tax savings opportunities, and ensuring the company’s tax policies comply with state, federal, and international laws.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file accurate federal, state, and local income tax returns.

Conduct tax research and analyze tax issues related to business transactions.

Assist with tax planning and strategy to optimize the company’s tax position.

Maintain tax balances on general ledger and prepare tax account reconciliations.

Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.

Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.

Monitor and analyze tax developments and advise management on implications.

Assist with the preparation and filing of indirect taxes (sales/use tax, VAT, etc.).

Provide support during audits and manage documentation requests.

Keep up to date with industry trends and changes in tax regulations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation is a plus).

CPA certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred.

2–5 years of tax accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or a corporate tax department.

Strong knowledge of tax code, regulations, and compliance procedures.

Experience with tax preparation software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, or similar).

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
