Tax Analyst

We are looking for a Tax Analyst to support the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns across LATAM markets. This role is ideal for a professional with a solid foundation in accounting and at least 2 years of experience in general accounting or direct tax processes, preferably within a shared service center or accounting firm. The position offers an excellent opportunity to grow in tax compliance, process improvement, and cross-country operations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities

Prepare and file corporate income tax returns (federal, state, and local) for LATAM entities.

Analyze statutory accounting information for tax reporting purposes.

Support monthly and annual balance sheet reconciliation processes related to tax accounts.

Conduct data analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance in tax filings.

Monitor and maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Act as a point of contact for tax-related inquiries and escalations.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives through standardization and automation.

Collaborate with finance and compliance teams to ensure local and regional tax obligations are met.
Requirements
Education

Bachelor’s Degree (or in progress) in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in general accounting, tax compliance, or statutory reporting.

Previous experience in an accounting firm or shared service environment is a strong plus.
Skills & Competencies

Advanced MS Office skills (Excel required).

Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
