Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the EVP pf one of the nation’s best known, well respected providers of flatbed and heavy haul transportation services. With a fleet of more than 300 trailers includes lowboys, stretch floats, flatbeds, dry vans, and intermodal chassis, their specialized heavy haul equipment can accommodate loads more than 1,000,000 pounds. This diversity allows the organization to meet the total transportation needs of our customers.

The TMW Systems Analyst prepares responses to RFQ/RFI process from customers. Maintains tariffs tables in TMW; Linehaul, Dray, DIMs, Weight, Fuel, Accessorial. Supports users in the following: TMW Operations, TMW Back Office, TMW File Maintenance, Total Mail, PeopleNet, TMW Go for Drivers, TMW Imaging, EStat, Carrier Watch, DAT integration, TMT. Documents user issues, working with TMW Support to resolve them. Works with external vendor support on Tier 1 Support issues. Trains users in TMW Suite. Prepares specialized customer reports. Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develops strategies for improving and leveraging these systems. Provides orientation and training to end users for all new and enhanced systems. Conducts research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts. Creates business process documentation to include business requirements with workflow diagrams for “current” and “future state.” Develops system requirements documentation to determine “how” the business need is going to be solved. Functions as the IT liaison between business community and technical solutions team. Coordinates project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions. Performs in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post implementation support. Triages defects to determine conflict with business requirements. Escalate issues, which affect product delivery, quality, and cost.

  • Implemented & supported TMWSuite (.Net version)
  • Created & maintained SSRS reporting
  • Led design sessions & user acceptance testing
  • Process improvement
