System Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized System Administrator to join our fast-growing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all IT systems and support functions are operating smoothly across multiple branches. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and the ability to manage projects independently from start to finish, demonstrating excellent follow-through and attention to detail.

This is a full-time, on-site role with occasional travel required to other branches as needed. Flexibility to provide support during non-standard business hours (e.g., early morning troubleshooting) is essential.

This Role Offers:

  • Primarily based at the corporate office, with occasional visits to other branch locations.
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, with the expectation of being on-site daily. Some flexibility may be offered in the future based on performance and reliability.
  • Occasional travel to branch sites for specific projects or troubleshooting.

Focus:

  • Manage user accounts, security groups, and permissions within Microsoft environments (Active Directory, Microsoft 365).
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless user setups and access control.
  • Provide end-user support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues (e.g., desktops, monitors, phones).
  • Manage and maintain work cell phones and related systems.
  • Coordinate with third-party providers on high-level network issues (Tier 3/4).
  • Set up and maintain security cameras, two-way radios, and related IT equipment.
  • Oversee and support the rollout of new phone systems and other IT infrastructure projects.
  • Independently manage multiple IT projects and day-to-day tasks, ensuring timely completion.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklists meticulously.
  • Maintain and update IT asset inventories and documentation with accuracy.
  • Act as the first point of contact for technical issues across branches.
  • Proactively identify and resolve IT-related problems, sometimes requiring early morning or after-hours support.
  • Work closely with leadership and other departments to align IT operations with business needs.
  • Occasionally travel to branch locations (e.g., Prescott, Tucson) for on-site support or project execution.

Skill Set:

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a “get it done” mentality.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work effectively with non-technical users and provide clear, supportive guidance.
  • Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work outside normal business hours.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the construction or industrial sectors is advantageous but not required.
  • Veterans or candidates with a security background are encouraged to apply.
