You Know the Rhythm of a Great OR

You know that preparation happens long before the first incision.

As a Surgical Technician, you'll play an important role throughout the surgical experience, working closely with surgeons, registered nurses, anesthesia professionals, and the broader perioperative team.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Preparing the operating room, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Establishing and maintaining a sterile field using proper aseptic technique
• Scrubbing for surgical procedures and anticipating the needs of surgeons and the OR team
• Passing instruments and supplies efficiently during procedures
• Providing second-assist support when appropriate
• Performing surgical counts and supporting patient safety protocols
• Collaborating with surgeons, circulating nurses, anesthesia staff, and perioperative personnel
• Supporting sterile processing and central supply operations
• Assisting with OR environmental safety and surgical suite disinfection
• Participating in the development and implementation of surgical patient care plans
• Maintaining professional, compassionate communication with patients and colleagues

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Graduate of an approved Surgical Technology / Surgical Technician program
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Associate degree in Surgical Technology preferred
• BLS/CPR certification required within 6 months of hire
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and operating room procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and attentive to detail in a fast-paced surgical environment
