Surgical Pathologist

Requirements: Surgical pathology with preferred GI training and experience. Candidates must possess a medical degree and be able to obtain a license to practice medicine in the State of Alabama. Board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology is required. Gynecologic and non-gyn cytology experience is a plus, as are surgical pathology and/or cytology fellowships. Beyond superior diagnostic skills, to fit with the Bernhardt laboratories culture, successful candidates must have excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality, and a strong work ethic centered on being a team player.
