Physician / Surgeon Opportunity – Greater Atlanta Area
We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Physician or Surgeon to join a growing medical practice located just outside the Atlanta market. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about patient care, enjoys educating and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
The practice is open to a variety of medical specialties and is willing to provide training in specialized treatment modalities, including lipedema-related care and procedures. The ideal candidate will bring empathy, professionalism, strong communication skills, and a commitment to exceptional patient outcomes.
Position Summary
The Physician / Surgeon will consult with patients, evaluate treatment options, perform surgical and nonsurgical procedures as appropriate, and provide ongoing follow-up care. This role requires excellent bedside manner, attention to detail, and the ability to build trust and confidence with patients of varying ages and backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with patients, review medical histories, and perform evaluations to determine appropriate treatment options
- Educate patients on surgical and nonsurgical procedures, including associated risks, benefits, and expected outcomes
- Conduct consultations for patients seeking treatment for lipedema and related conditions
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide pre-operative and post-operative guidance
- Perform surgical and nonsurgical treatments as appropriate to specialty and training
- Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments to monitor healing, remove sutures if applicable, and assess patient progress
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Support clinic operations by assisting with policies, procedures, and patient care standards
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to provide an outstanding patient experience
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent medical degree required
- Additional training or experience in cosmetic, reconstructive, or liposuction procedures is a plus
- Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent understanding of patient aftercare and recovery protocols
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate bedside manner with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing ethical, high-quality patient care
