$1,600 to $1,700 per week

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and certified Surgical Technologist for a Quick Start contract opportunity in Arcata, California. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses, ensuring a sterile environment and efficient operation flow.

Job Details:

• Pay Rate: $1600/Weekly

• Hours: 40 hours per week (guaranteed, except during Thanksgiving week)

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, shared call rotation required

• Contract Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.

• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and available.

• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies.

• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.

• Handle specimens properly and ensure accurate labeling.

• Clean and restock the operating room after each procedure.

Requirements:

• Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

• BLS certification (required)

• Current TB clearance

• Minimum 1 year of recent surgical tech experience preferred.
