JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Surface Mount Operator in Rochester Hills, MI.

Responsibilities of an Surface Mount Operator include:

  • Efficient in set-up and operating SMT equipment, including screen printer, pick and place machine, and reflow ovens
  • Perform visual inspection of SMT assemblies
  • Maintain component feeder operations, perform set up and repair as appropriate
  • Read and understand bills of materials (BOMS) and parts list
  • Work with a high level of detail and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Maintain safe work habits and report any unsafe conditions
  • Work within a team environment to foster communications, share knowledge and assist others when problems arise

Job Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of SMT experience
  • Organized, good communication, and work well with others

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma.
Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm

Conducting a drug screening and/or background check may be necessary for employment purposes.
