Salary: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align production planning with demand forecasts and company goals
- Direct and optimize procurement activities to ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging needed to meet aggressive production schedules
- Work collaboratively with manufacturing and logistics teams to identify, discuss, and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies within the process
- Administer inventory management practices to diminish waste and sustain optimal stock levels to meet ongoing customer demands
- Manage warehouse operations to confirm efficient processes in shipping, receiving, and material handling are maintained
- Analyze and report on supply chain performance metrics, creating actionable strategies for improvement
- Forge and cultivate strong, reliable relationships with suppliers, ensuring continuous quality and consistent service
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional meetings to drive coherence in supply chain strategies across various departments
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning, supply planning, or scheduling in a manufacturing setting
- Solid grasp of supply chain management principles such as scheduling, supply analysis, and inventory control
- Proficient in ERP systems and intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with an emphasis on improving operational efficiency and reducing costs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, proficient in navigating cross-team collaborations
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the aptitude to manage and direct cross-functional supply chain teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
- Professional certifications in Supply Chain Management such as APICS CPIM or CSCP
- Experience in using advanced data analytics and supply chain modeling tools
- Prior experience in a global manufacturing environment
- Proven track record in strategic planning and execution within supply chains
