Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Operations for an industry-leading provider of custom packaging solutions serving a range of industries to include retail, hospitality, grocery, and food service.

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the coordination and day-to-day operations of our client’s ocean import shipments and drayage. Will ensure timely delivery of containers and serve as the liaison between steamship lines, freight forwarders, trucking companies, sales, and other internal departments. This position will also resolve transportation issues as they arise and provide exceptional customer service as it relates to transportation. Will help to establish standard operating procedures and enhance, implement, and manage our client’s US import operations processes.

Background Required:
• Import logistics or supply chain experience (3+ years)
• Extensive knowledge of ocean imports
• Quoting with ocean carriers and domestic truckers
• Ability to manage and prioritize workflow
• Established standard operating procedures & metrics
• Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
• Residence: commutable to Calabasas, CA

Background Preferred (but not required):
• Knowledge of NetSuite
• Knowledge of customs brokerage & compliance
• Knowledge of warehousing & distribution
• Education: Bachelor’s degree
