We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager who will be instrumental in overseeing our supply chain operations. This includes management of inventory, supplier relationships, and improvement of internal systems for efficient production. This position is crucial for enhancing our operational efficiency, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Salary: $100,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure our planning system is continuously updated to reflect current product demands, changes in supplier lead times, and cost fluctuations.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess, thereby reducing waste and minimizing storage costs.
• Regular monitoring and reporting on key supply chain metrics such as inventory trends and supplier punctuality.
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, source new suppliers, and maintain high standards of quality, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness in deliveries.
• Coordinate material requirements for new projects including product launches and process enhancements.
• Identify and resolve promptly any issues within the supply chain that could potentially impact production.
• Initiate and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce overall operational costs.
• Lead and develop a supply chain team, setting clear objectives, providing ongoing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment compliant with quality standards such as ISO.
• Proven track record in managing purchasing, maintaining inventory, and handling supplier relationships effectively.
• Proficient in utilizing ERP systems, understanding Kanban, and other lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Exceptional project management, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Capable of collaborating effectively across different departments within the company.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in supply chain management.
• Global supply chain management experience, particularly with suppliers based in Asia.
• Professional certifications such as APICS or ISM.
