Our top Client is looking for a Logistics Manager with rail experience in the Chicago area. This person must be able to work in a busy environment and be very detail oriented.


Responsibilities:

• Negotiate Rail Rates for Private Fleet Rail Cars
• Track Shipments
• Manage the shipping and receiving department employees.
• Process all orders into picking tickets for shipping personnel.
• Generate bills of ladings with lot code information for shipments.
• Schedule and track all outgoing truck shipments.
• Schedule and track all incoming receiving shipments.
• Coordinate proper receiving procedure and storage of all raw materials, packaging, and plant materials.
