Job Description
Our Client in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry is looking to hire a Supply Chain Manager. The ideal candidate will develop and manage the company's overall supply chain strategies and operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the negotiation of contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Evaluate and improve procurement processes to achieve higher efficiency and cost savings.
  • Oversee all logistics activities, including warehousing and distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with all export and import regulations, including customs documentation.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving supplier performance and resolving any supply chain issues.
  • Develop and implement inventory control systems and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.
  • Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and develop the supply chain team, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Be abreast with and educate the team and relevant parties on food safety policy and commitments.
  • Report any food safety related issues immediately to the Food Safety Team Lead.
  • Promote ethical and sustainable supply chain practices.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and systems within the supply chain.
  • Handle any other duties as assigned by senior management.

Qualification
  • Master's degree (preferred) or minimum bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in supply chain management preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Technical Competencies
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and lead management systems.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
