Job Description
Responsibilities
- The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and efficient movement of goods.
- Lead the shipping and receiving teams, collaborate with internal departments, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster relationships with suppliers and freight carriers, implementing best practices, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
- Perform all duties to ensure the monthly supply planning processes are completed to support the integrated planning processes.
- Creation, execution and maintenance of the supply plan from the demand forecast including the creation of the master production schedule and medium-term capacity loading outlooks. Develop proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate issues and risks with respect to supply planning.
- The Supply Chain Manager will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain with inventory control, logistics, production planning, scheduling, and purchasing/contract negotiations preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (SAP or similar) for inventory, production planning, and logistics management.
- Experience managing supplier and freight carrier relationships to optimize service and cost.
- Expertise in inventory control, supply chain optimization, and production planning.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software (e.g., EPICOR, SAP).
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
