Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a top-tier aerospace manufacturer in search of a Demand Planning & SIOP Leader. This is a critical leadership role responsible for developing and aligning volume and revenue forecasts while driving improvements across supply chain performance, customer satisfaction, and inventory management. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between sales, marketing, and operations through a robust Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the SIOP process at the business unit level, partnering with Customer Management, Scheduling, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams.

  • Align strategic business goals with operational execution, identifying risks and driving solutions across cross-functional teams.

  • Balance service levels and inventory value through synchronized demand, supply, and financial planning.

  • Develop and maintain an 18-month rolling SKU-level demand plan by analyzing historical trends, sales forecasts, and market intelligence.

  • Create baseline demand plans to translate sales expectations into actionable production requirements.

  • Generate reports, performance metrics, and integrated data systems to enable data-driven decision-making.

  • Identify and address supply and demand imbalances to support level-loaded, achievable production schedules.

  • Drive the digital transformation strategy within the SIOP team to improve focus on data analysis over manual reporting.

  • Produce analytics and reporting deliverables for senior leadership and drive performance to plan.

  • Facilitate cross-regional demand planning meetings in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.

  • Conduct professional gap analyses and root cause investigations to improve forecast accuracy and demand planning quality.

  • Document key demand planning assumptions tied to new products, promotions, events, and customer-driven initiatives.

  • Align regional baseline forecasts with sales goals and integrate feedback from the field.

  • Lead monthly performance feedback loops: demand plan vs. incoming orders vs. shipments.

  • Collaborate closely with supply planners to support best-in-class customer service and financial outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • 6–10 years of experience in operations planning, inventory management, capacity planning, and SIOP.

  • At least 5 years of experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP or similar).

  • Demonstrated success implementing innovative planning solutions and improving operational outcomes.

  • Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration in a complex manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to work independently and lead through influence; strong conflict resolution skills.

  • APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certifications preferred.

  • Experience with demand planning tools such as RapidResponse, Forecast Pro, or SAP APO.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Solid understanding of how supply chain decisions impact financial performance, including inventory turns and working capital.
