What You’ll Do
- Lead warehouse planning and purchasing operations, overseeing a team of 10+ across multiple locations.
- Manage the full lifecycle of supply chain operations, from raw materials procurement to final product distribution.
- Implement MRP systems and optimize workflows for efficiency and cost savings.
- Oversee inventory control strategies, forecasting demand and maintaining optimal stock levels to meet customer requirements.
- Identify and negotiate with suppliers to ensure high-quality materials, competitive pricing, and timely deliveries.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align supply chain operations with production planning and sales forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze key supply chain performance metrics, such as on-time delivery and inventory turnover.
- Play a hands-on role in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution and problem-solving in real time.
- Drive the transition to a new ERP system (Epicor), ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions while implementing risk management strategies.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Experience with MRP/ERP system implementations (Sage50, Micolla, Tribute, or Epicor is a plus).
- Background in connector/cable assembly or a related industry is highly desirable.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (flexible with relevant experience).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory reporting tools.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to be involved in daily operations.
- Must be eligible for U.S. Security Clearance.
