Summary
This position is responsible for processing and managing orders and other logistics documents, including data entry of order details, pricing assessment, scheduling through various 3PL partners, and delivery confirmations.

Order Processing and Logistics
  • Customer PO data entry into ERP
  • Confirm accuracy of item, quantity, and amount in each PO
  • Issue shipment order for each customer PO entered to 3PL warehouses for scheduling
  • Follow-up with 3PL for order accuracy and shipment schedule
  • Maintain communication with customer to inform order progress
  • Confirm mode of transportation for each order
  • Appoint carrier for each outbound shipment order
  • Confirm shipped and delivered status with 3PL carrier
  • Trucking cost data entry for review and assessment

Inventory and Warehouse
  • Inventory related data entry for review and monthly maintenance
  • Warehousing cost data entry for review and assessment
  • Spreadsheet maintenance of inventory details

Other & Miscellaneous
  • Seeks continuous improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
  • Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management.
  • Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
  • Reports all irregular issues and problems to Management for resolution.
  • Maintains good communication with other staff & outside contacts.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Qualifications
Education & Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in business or equivalent is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of data processing in logistics or a similar nature is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of an ERP system is preferred.

The following travel and driving requirements are required of the incumbent into this position.

Work schedule up to 30 hrs/week, M-F, 8am-2pm (with some flexibility)
