Supply Chain Buyer

CBIZ Talent Solutions is assisting our valued manufacturing client, in the greater Los Angeles, CA area, with their search for an organized and analytical Supply Chain Buyer with strong communication and teamwork skills. Responsible for inventory management, MRP execution, supplier relationships, and optimizing working capital. 100% onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Execute purchasing and inventory control for goods and components
  • Place, expedite, defer, and cancel purchase orders as needed
  • Manage supplier relationships and resolve quality or delivery issues
  • Monitor and adjust safety stock and inventory parameters
  • Propose solutions for excess and obsolete inventory
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (planning, production, quality, finance)
  • Prepare reports for management review

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • 2 + years supply chain/buying experience
  • Experience with supply chain systems and Excel
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is a plus
