Supply Chain Associate

Dagen is recruiting a Contract, Supply Chain Associate for a fiber optics company in Southwest Houston.

This is a 4 -6 week temporary position that will pay up to $24.00 per hour.

Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Associate will support day-to-day supply chain operations with a strong focus on inventory management and data accuracy within the NetSuite platform. This role requires hands-on experience with material movement processes, including creating and managing Material Transfer Orders (MTOs) and transferring materials between warehouses and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and process Material Transfer Orders (MTOs) in NetSuite to move materials between warehouses and vendors.
• Maintain inventory accountability, ensuring all transfers and adjustments are accurately recorded in NetSuite.
• Perform part identification, data entry, and system updates to ensure real-time accuracy of inventory data.
• Collaborate with warehouse and vendor teams to coordinate material movements and confirm delivery and receipt.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory discrepancies and assist with cycle counts and audits.
• Support supply chain reporting and provide updates on inventory status as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and company policies related to material handling and recordkeeping.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in NetSuite, specifically with inventory and material transfer functions.
• 1 - 3 years of inventory management experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent data entry and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Prior experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
