Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Engineering for a continuously growing supply chain logistics and transportation provider.
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for new business growth by collaborating with prospective and existing customers to develop value by providing creative solutions in areas such as warehousing, technology systems, transportation, last mile delivery services, etc. The position will support shared services and the Supply Chain team on multiple programs. Analyst is responsible for using analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes and business development operations as well as audit existing profitability of new and existing clients and provide recommendations to internal engineer to increase profitability resources. Leads best practice development and cost reduction activities. Partner with internal and external teams to achieve project results. Ability to identify, quantify, and recommend operations improvements and systems enhancements initiatives leading to improved efficiencies.

Background Required:
  • Logistics Transportation, Warehousing/Distribution Solutions Design and Optimization (1-3 years)
  • Warehouse operational knowledge (i.e., pick methodology, work measurement, labor management, slotting)
  • Supply Chain Technology (i.e., WMS, WCS, WES, TMS)
  • Storage technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze data to identify trends, results, and opportunity for improvement
  • Ability to align resources to drive lean principals and process improvement
  • Implement and Develop measurement systems that drive appropriate action and support business goals
  • Analytical (i.e., data collection, analysis, design, recommendation, root cause investigation)
  • Wrote reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (Industrial Engineering or related)
  • Residence: Remote Office w/ Travel

  • Process Improvement Exposure (i.e., Six Sigma, Lean)
  • Customer facing
