Supplier Quality Engineer II/III

Experience we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-7 years of quality engineering experience
  • AS9100
  • AS9145 (APQP)
  • GD&T, Gage R&R, FMEA, Control Plans
  • Continuous Improvement looking at current supplier quality processes such as audits, and corrective action plans and improving them

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASQC certifications
  • SPC
  • Experience in a regulated environment with a preference of FAA CFR 14 part 21 and part 145
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification (black belt or green belt)

Position Summary:

The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing a supplier quality improvement and monitoring process that optimizes the supplier performance, product quality, and business qualification.

  • Interface with suppliers and customers regarding supplier nonconformance
  • Manage OEM customer returns for custom designed supplied parts
  • Liaise with Special Process (OSP) suppliers regarding defects and conduct onsite assessments with NADCAP checklist
  • Support the Supply Chain team in assessing supplier performance, monitoring corrective action status, and driving supplier to continuous improvement
  • Corrective action, root cause analysis
  • First article and first batch audit inspections
  • Support Material Review Board (MRB)

Salary range: $109,928 to $145,766
