Supplier Quality Engineer II/III
Experience we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2-7 years of quality engineering experience
- AS9100
- AS9145 (APQP)
- GD&T, Gage R&R, FMEA, Control Plans
- Continuous Improvement looking at current supplier quality processes such as audits, and corrective action plans and improving them
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASQC certifications
- SPC
- Experience in a regulated environment with a preference of FAA CFR 14 part 21 and part 145
- Lean/Six Sigma certification (black belt or green belt)
Position Summary:
The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing a supplier quality improvement and monitoring process that optimizes the supplier performance, product quality, and business qualification.
- Interface with suppliers and customers regarding supplier nonconformance
- Manage OEM customer returns for custom designed supplied parts
- Liaise with Special Process (OSP) suppliers regarding defects and conduct onsite assessments with NADCAP checklist
- Support the Supply Chain team in assessing supplier performance, monitoring corrective action status, and driving supplier to continuous improvement
- Corrective action, root cause analysis
- First article and first batch audit inspections
- Support Material Review Board (MRB)
Salary range: $109,928 to $145,766
