We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Supervisor Nursing - Emergency Department ER for a great opportunity in the Northwestern Washington area. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of current experience working in an acute care hospital in the Emergency Department and 3+ years of experience working in an Emergency department in a leadership role.

Responsibilities of the Supervisor Nursing - Emergency Department ER

  • The Supervisor Nursing - Emergency Department ER assures service, growth, development, personnel management, and resource allocation and management controls to ensure consistent high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
  • The Supervisor Nursing - Emergency Department ER accurately identifies real/potential problems affecting the service and implements solutions with follow-through and communication
  • The Supervisor Nursing - Emergency Department ER coaches immediate subordinates by providing feedback; and constructive critique of work; facilitates individual development plans, and documents their job performance
  • The Supervisor Nursing - Emergency Department ER enforces standards of emergency department care and develops processes to measure and ensure consistent compliance
  • The Supervisor Nursing - Emergency Department ER is responsible for the fiscal management of the department; ensuring proper utilization of the organization’s financial resources
  • The Supervisor Nursing - Emergency Department ER demonstrates a poised and confident demeanor that reassures others and commands respect within the organization and the community

Requirements of the Supervisor Nursing - Emergency Department ER

  • 5 years of current experience working in a hospital
  • 2 years of current experience working in a management role in an Emergency Department
  • Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years of Supervisory or Charge Nurse experience in an Emergency Department
