Our client is a globally recognized MEP engineering firm delivering complex, high-impact work across advanced R&D facilities (next-generation science & technology and eVTOL), major aviation projects, and large-scale mission critical & high-rise developments. They’re seeking a Supervising Mechanical Engineer to join their leadership group in the San Francisco office.

This is a hands-on design leadership role for an engineer who thrives on technical rigor, owns project outcomes, and enjoys mentoring the next generation of engineers. You’ll join a collaborative, quality-driven organization that values innovation, professional growth, and life outside of work.

Key Responsibilities

As the Supervising Mechanical Engineer, you will serve as a technical and people leader responsible for:

  • Acting as Engineer or Record and technical lead for complex mechanical systems on dedicated projects
  • Establishing and overseeing mechanical design standards, specifications and criteria
  • Leading interdisciplinary coordination and client-facing technical discussions
  • Guiding project execution from concept through construction
  • Mentoring, supervising, and developing junior staff
  • Contributing to a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in the MEP engineering industry
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with Critical Facilities, S&T, and/or Aviation projects is a strong plus
