We’re seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee Heavy Civil, Pump stations, Sewer, Storm, Water and Pipelines with public sitework projects. Our client, a well-established general engineering contractor for over 60 years with locations in California, Nevada and Texas,is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a driven individual with deep experience in water infrastructures, from Wasterwater Pump Sations, sewage lift stations, storm water pumping facilities and treatment plants. This Superintendent role is critical to the company's continued success with Public complex and essential projects.

What You’ll Do:

  • Direct day-to-day field operations on public water projects: Pump Stations, Sewer, Storm Water and Pipelines.
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and self-perform crews
  • Ensure safety first—enforce OSHA standards and conduct daily inspections
  • Oversee quality control and compliance with plans & specs
  • Monitor schedules, manpower, equipment, and costs to deliver projects on time & on budget
  • Keep detailed daily reports and provide project updates

What You’ll Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil, or commercial construction
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Expertise in working for a contractor in underground wet utilities, concrete
  • Proficiency in Procore, Primavera, MS Project, and Microsoft Office
  • OSHA 30 certification (First Aid/CPR and PMP preferred)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites: San Jose, Monterey and San Francisco
  • BSCE or BSCM preferred or 10 years equivalent experience.
