Structural Project Manager (Entertainment)
Structural Project Manager (Entertainment)
Any location nationwide
We are looking for a licensed structural engineer with experience working on entertainment projects. This is a newly created position with an employee-owned structural engineering firm. This engineer will be responsible for serving as the project manager for structural entertainment projects from start to finish, including working directly with clients, mentoring junior structural design engineers, and assisting with engineering analysis and design. The individual will work hand-in-hand with other structural engineers and project managers throughout the firm.
The structures engineered for the entertainment sector often require specific approaches and skill sets, so previous experience in this field is required. The firm works on a wide range of entertainment projects, from permanent structures such as theaters and theme parks, to temporary structures for concerts, sporting events, music festivals, and other miscellaneous outdoor structures. The projects offer varied, fast-paced work with quick turnaround.
The individual can work from home anywhere within the US; please indicate location preference when applying for the position. This position affords the individual great work/life balance and minimal travel. Individuals without prior project management experience will be considered for this position if they possess the desire to be trained for a project management role.
The company maintains a fulfilling, family-friendly, flexible culture and prides itself on offering all employees the opportunity for employee stock ownership after one year. In addition to a flexible work schedule, this company offers OT pay for all hours worked over 40, a personal budget for training/continuing education, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, and bonus eligibility (with a target bonus at 15% of base salary).
Salary Range: $80,000 -$120,000 base salary /year – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set and location.
Requirements:
• BS in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related engineering discipline
• 6+ years of experience
• Licensed PE or SE (or ability to obtain your license within 6 months)
• The engineer must have prior experience working on the structural design of entertainment projects. Preference will be given to candidates with experience on projects such as theaters, theme park entertainment, concerts, or temporary outdoor projects.
