Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Structural Engineer will lead and contribute to the design and structural analysis of various projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure developments.
- Oversee the structural aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Ensure all structural designs meet local and international building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration and implementation.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve complex structural engineering problems with innovative and effective solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, design calculations, specifications, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct structural reviews, audits, and inspections to verify the accuracy and quality of engineering work.
- Relocation provided. $140K-$165K.
- The Structural Engineer will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field and 10+ years of professional experience in structural engineering, with a focus on design and analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of structural design and analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD, ETABS, RISA, Revit, AutoCAD). Familiarity with building codes, standards, and construction methods.
- Proven track record of working with engineers & designers to produce construction drawings
- Licensed Professional Engineer in South Carolina preferred, with capability of reciprocity to other states.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
