Structural Bridge Engineering Supervisor
Columbia, Maryland; Baltimore; Maryland; Washington DC; Herndon, Virginia; Fredericksburg, Virginia; Richmond, Virginia (Individual can work from any Mead & Hunt office in the region or a hybrid/remote schedule within 2 hours of any of these offices)

Mead & Hunt is hiring for a Structural Bridge Engineering Supervisor for the Mid-Atlantic region. The engineer will join an established bridge design team with extensive long-term backlog and will be responsible for serving as the manager for the bridge team. In addition, the individual will be the project manager, providing technical oversight and QA/QC for bridge design projects and condition inspection of transportation structures, and assisting with local business development efforts.

The team is currently working on a wide range of public sector contracts from MDOT SHA, MDTA, MTA, City of Baltimore, District of Columbia, and VDOT, in addition to numerous counties and municipalities in the Mid-Atlantic area.

This position presents the individual with tremendous career growth potential and the opportunity to take over a smaller bridge design group as the leader and help the group continue to grow within the Mid-Atlantic region.

Salary Range: $135,000 - $200,000 /year – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set and location.

Requirements:
• BS in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• 12+ years of experience.
• Licensed PE.
• Background working on bridge design engineering projects.
• Prior project management and/or people management experience.
• Strong people skills and relationships with public sector clients.
