Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer of a same day delivery transportation provider. Prides themselves on customer service and technology. They service healthcare, retail, and industrial sectors. Currently servicing close to 60 major markets across the United States. 24 hours service, 7 days a week, 365-day operation with a focus on door-to-door courier service with white glove delivery.
The Strategic Account Director has a responsibility to ensure retention and growth of a select group of enterprise accounts. They will spend their time growing relationships, monitoring performance, designing, and executing plans that will improve client satisfaction and gain more business. Beyond that, this person will look to develop relationships, uncover new solutions for complex clients, and gain the trust of many Fortune 500 companies. This person should have a track record with direct multi-million-dollar account ownership responsibility (particularly in portfolio management and growth) and have a deep understanding in key industries for this client such as healthcare. Goal is to grow revenue, optimize cost, and maximize profitability.

Background Required:
  • Transportation Strategic Account Management (6 years)
  • Manage large book of business and multiple accounts ($10 million and 10 accounts)
  • Handle clients with large revenues (over $1 billion in revenues)
  • Pipeline management (expand business share and locations)
  • Relationship building (corporate procurement relationships, directors, VP, and other stake holders)
  • Understanding all relationships and how they play to accounts
  • Develop and execute standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee internal cross functional teams
  • Drive key performance indicators to uncover new opportunities for all parties
  • Hold quarterly business reviews.
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Office and previous CRM experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Residence: Remote (USA)
