Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • manage, train, develop and lead a team of 4-6 coworkers
  • direct and inspect the daily execution of all of the store's programs and redirect as necessary
  • motivates and assists each coworker with daily planning to achieve store, company and individual goals and objectives
  • assist with the recruiting, interviewing and hiring process
  • ensure customer's files are setup and properly maintained
  • ensure the store meets its established monthly financial budget objectives through revenue attainment and expense control
  • safeguard and monitor the company assets through management of inventory, vehicles, cash control and store facilities
  • ensures store consistently meets its set sales and credit goals
  • consistently seek and maintain knowledge of current products
  • complete monthly P&L statements
  • complete all other tasks assigned at the discretion of management

The ideal candidate must possess the following skills, knowledge and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job: 

  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Minimum 2yr college education and/or prior people management experience.
  • Must commit to a 50-60 hour work week 
  • Strong problem solving, organization and leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work and perform well in a fast paced retail environment.
  • Ability to lift and move furniture and merchandise with the proper equipment and assistance as needed.
  • Must possess a valid and active driver's license.
  • Profit and Loss management experience.
  • Strong ability to lead by example, motivate and train.
  • Must be willing to submit to and pass a background check and drug screen.
