Sr. Operations and Process Improvement Analyst
Full Time /Remote
The Sr Operations and Process Improvement Analyst will be part of the Group Life and Health Policy Development Department. This person will play a critical role in optimizing business processes by mapping workflows, developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), establishing key performance metrics, and reporting on operational performance to senior management.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze, document, and visualize end-to-end business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop clear, comprehensive, and standardized operating procedures to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across operations.
- Define, establish, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other operational metrics to assess business performance.
- Develop reports and dashboards to communicate key insights and trends to senior management, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
- Work cross-functionally with different departments to gather insights, refine processes, and implement operational enhancements.
- Identify areas for operational efficiency and work with leadership to implement best practices and process enhancements.
- Ensure operational processes align with company policies, industry regulations, and risk management protocols.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Three to five years of experience of Group Life Insurance, particularly Short-Term Disability and Stop Loss Insurance.
- Experience in process improvement and change acceleration, with expertise in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- A strong ability to identify operational efficiencies and create meaningful metrics to track performance and drive continuous improvement
- Strong communication abilities, including effective interaction with C-suite executives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and process mapping software such as Visio
