Stainless Steel Brush Finishing Polisher

We are currently seeking a skilled Stainless Steel Brush Finishing Polisher to join our clients growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform brush finishing and surface preparation on stainless steel components.
• Use Dynabrade and similar pneumatic/electric finishing tools to grind and prep surfaces for powder paint coating.
• Ensure consistent finish quality and surface smoothness per project specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in optimal working condition.
• Work collaboratively with the coatings and fabrication teams to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in metal finishing, specifically on stainless steel.
• Familiarity with Dynabrade (or similar surface prep tools).
• Knowledge of grit progression, surface texture standards, and powder coating prep best practices.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Northwestern Suburbs – Des Plaines, Illinois
Employment Type: Full-time

Range: $20-$24 per hour
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
