Morgan Consulting Resources, Inc. has been retained by UCLA Health to conduct the search for an ambitious Staff Physician, Occupational Health. This position is on-site 4.5 days a week at UCLA’s main campus and will provide care to UCLA employees following occupational injuries. About the Position:

Under the supervision of the Medical Director of UCLA Occupational Health, the Staff Physician, Occupational Health is responsible for providing care to UCLA employees following occupational injuries.

Major duties include:
  • Managing patient work-related injuries;
  • Determining the causation of injuries;
  • Conducting disability case reviews;
  • Performing pre-placement physicals and maintenance exams;
  • and other clinical and administrative duties.
The successful candidate will work 8-hour day-time shifts, Monday through Friday, at the Occupational Health Clinic located on UCLA’s main campus. This position will perform 36 patient facing hours (on-site) and 4 hours of administrative time (remote) on a weekly basis. Responsibilities fall primarily into the areas of work-related injuries (~85%) and annual exams & services (~15%) with one half-day each week dedicated to administrative duties.

Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000 annually

Position Summary

The Occupational Health physician will be assigned at the UCLA Occupational Health Facility as 8-hour shifts from Monday to Fridays. The incumbent is expected to work and complete cases independently following State of California and Institution approved procedures and guidelines. This role offers 36 patient facing hours and 4 hours of administrative time on a weekly basis.

Salary

The University of California, Los Angeles is required to provide an estimate of the salary range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Salary offers are determined based on candidate qualifications and experience. The target salary range for this position is $250,000 to $300,000 (annual).
