Staff Attorney – Real Estate, Probate, and Estate Planning - Gulf Coast, FL (Venice, Sarasota, Naples, Fort Myers)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Staff Attorney to provide legal counsel and support in real estate law, probate, and estate planning. The ideal candidate will be a Florida-barred attorney with a proven track record in these areas and a strong desire to contribute to a growing, collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise and represent clients in real estate transactions, including drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting due diligence, and resolving title issues.
  • Handle probate and estate administration, including drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
  • Represent clients in contract disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support business operations and client needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other industry professionals.
  • Participate in business development activities, including networking events and community functions, to support relationship-building.
  • Develop and deliver educational trainings and seminars-both in-person locally and virtually across Florida-to support client education and industry engagement.
  • Provide legal advice on files generated by the team.
  • Self-generate files and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Florida real estate law, probate, and estate planning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in title examination, closings, and contract law.
  • Experience in probate, guardianship, and estate administration.
  • Knowledge of contract dispute resolution and litigation.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Existing clients or business are a plus, but not required.
  • Must be able to work in Venice, Sarasota, Naples, or Fort Myers, Florida.
