Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to support our clients accounting operations and help keep the financial processes running smoothly.

Summary: The Staff Accountant will play a key role in day‑to‑day accounting activities and financial reporting. This position requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Report on weekly variances
• Assist with job cost analysis, including tracking labor, materials, and expense reporting
• Help prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Account reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
• Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and financial close

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience (construction industry experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Experience with larger accounting software (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP)
• Advanced Excel skills
