Staff Accountant
Job Description
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Preparing and filing tax returns
- Payroll, bookkeeping, and HR
- Office management related
- Responsible for company travel and event planning
- Reviewing financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance
- Enter accounting related information into business logs
- Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy
- Organize and update financial records
- Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
- Perform monthly bank settlements
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- HR functions including onboarding new hires with technology and site-specific implementation
- Support construction site purchasing including establishing subcontracts, new vendors, waivers, W9s and COI
- Manage truck fleet including maintenance and insurance
- Process email orders, maintain drop ship and backorder status
- Manage company travel
- AP experience - invoice processing, facility expenses, per diem expenses
- Payroll
- Marketing experience with trade shows - including print, email, web and social media campaigns
