CBIZ Talent Solutions has a client in Doral, FL looking for a Staff Accountant with A/R and Chargeback experience to join them onsite in their Doral location. Experience in the retail / fashion industry is a plus. This is an onsite position with benefits.

Required

• At least 3 year accounts receivable and general accounting experience, preferably in a retail /distribution environment
• Strong experience with chargebacks and factoring/reconciliation, including issuing credit memos and violation chargebacks.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable, billing, office administration and procedures
• Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
• Proficient accounting applications, and Microsoft Office; Advanced Excel skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and ability to problem solve
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Interpersonal skills and excellent professional level communication skills
• Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred

General duties

• General accounting duties relating to A/R, A/P and G/L account analysis, preferably working in a retail or fashion related business.
• Researching and recording chargebacks and credit card cash receipts, and other adjustments
• Accounting functions related to customer service issues, e.g., new accounts, returns, customer master file maintenance, refunds.
• Reconciling merchant bank accounts.
• Customer billing for non-factored accounts.
• Documenting procedures.
• Special projects
