We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst I to join our growing manufacturing organization. This role is ideal for a recent or upcoming BS in Accounting graduate with 1–2 years of professional or internship experience who is eager to build a well-rounded accounting career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The Accounting Analyst I will gain exposure across multiple accounting disciplines, including general ledger accounting, cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting, inventory analysis, financial reporting, and operational finance support. This position offers strong mentorship, hands-on learning, and significant growth potential as the company continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
  • Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Support general ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation
  • Participate in cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation, variance analysis, and manufacturing cost tracking
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives
  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and support decision-making
  • Help maintain accuracy of inventory, production, and costing records within ERP systems
  • Support internal and external audit requests
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, production, and leadership teams
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and accounting system enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
  • 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred, including internships or co-op experience
  • Exposure to manufacturing or cost accounting concepts is a plus
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
