Responsible for the complete administration of personal trust accounts including estates, trusts, guardianships and agencies up to and including moderately complex situations. Represents the bank in contacts with customers, attorneys, beneficiaries and other related parties. Administers assigned personal accounts; studies and analyzes the trust instrument; determines and adheres to the responsibilities, duties, and terms of the governing trust document; monitors account activity ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Contacts, corresponds, advises, and resolves more complicated problems with clients, beneficiaries, portfolio managers, attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals in the course of an administration of accounts.
  • Cultivate and develop new business opportunities;
  • Serve as a voting member of Trust Administrative and Investment Committee;
  • Help mitigate and manage the bank’s risk inside assigned book of business;
  • Facilitate client transactions, distributions and other client-related requests;
  • Actively participate and engage in policy, procedure and practice discussions;
  • Coach and mentor other employees;
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- JD, CTFA, CFP, CPA Preferred
- 10+ years personal trust relationship management or related financial services experience
- Strong knowledge of other bank business line product and success in identifying client needs and making referral to other bank products to address those needs
